What is ClearCorrect?
ClearCorrect is a popular treatment that Brightwork Family Dentistry offers patients who want beautiful and confident smiles.
An alternative to metal braces, ClearCorrect utilizes clear, custom-fit aligners and follows a specific treatment plan determined by your dentist to help patients achieve straighter teeth.
ClearCorrect uses SmartTrack®, a patented material custom-designed for your needs and your lifestyle.
How does ClearCorrect work?
You will receive a customized treatment plan that begins with a scan and digitized map of your teeth to see how the ClearCorrect aligners will enable your teeth to shift throughout the treatment.
You'll be able to see before and after images of your smile.
Aligners are created to fit over your teeth and move them into place as they are worn each day.
Patients wear numerous sets of aligners over a period of time until all of the teeth have moved into place as planned.
ClearCorrect aligners are removable and clear, so you don’t have to worry about changing how you care for your teeth throughout treatment.
How long do I have to wear ClearCorrect aligners?
You must wear your ClearCorrect aligners all day, meaning you take them out only when you need to eat and when you brush and floss your teeth.
The duration depends on your individual treatment plan. Many patients progress to new aligners each week throughout the treatment plan.
You will see your dentist roughly every 6 weeks for their dental check-ups. After you complete your treatment plan, Dr. Crowley or Dr. Iachini will advise on how to maintain your new smile.
How much does ClearCorrect cost?
While you’ll pay around the same for ClearCorrect as you might pay for metal braces, you’re likely to complete your treatment plan faster, especially if you add the weekly aligners into your plan.
Some insurance plans may cover part or all of the cost.
